Feel Good Fridays

Come and join us on our floating pontoon Friday lunchtimes throughout September. Grab some lunch from our World Food Market, pull up a deckchair and enjoy some live lunchtime entertainment. 

Our fantastic programme has been put together by the team at DiscMuseum, who are based here at St. Katharine Docks as part of Rainmaking Loft.


Friday 8th September, 12:30pm-2:00pm - London Female Saxophone Quartet

Trained at London’s leading music colleges, Alter Ego is an all female saxophone quartet based in London.  Individually the girls perform with some of Europe’s best orchestras and Big Bands, headlining on cruise ships around the world and featuring on top record labels including Hed Kandi. The group always create a fun and lively atmosphere.


Friday 15th September, 12:30pm-2:00pm - Ceruleo Early Music Ensemble

Formed in 2014, Ceruleo is an early music ensemble made up of two soprano singers, a harpsichord, a Theorbo\guitar and a viola da gamba.

Ceruleo are delighted to have been offered an Artist’s Fellowship by The Guildhall School for 2016/17 and have a busy schedule of concerts this year. Highlights include performing for the City Music Society in February 2017, the London Handel Festival in March and at St Peter’s Wallingford in May as part of the Brighton Early Music Festival Promoters Scheme.


Friday 22nd September, 12:30pm-2:00pm - Apollo5

The British a cappella ensemble Apollo5 has been praised for its engaging and entertaining performances. With a repertoire ranging from retro jazz, pop and classical arrangements, they are adept performers on the concert platform and festivals.

The group’s performances in London have included St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Royal Albert Hall, the Troxy, Café de Paris, the Houses of Parliament, Pizza Express Jazz Club Soho, The Crazy Coqs and Kings Place.



Friday 29th September, 12:30pm-2:00pm - Mike Redfern Quartet

London based electric quartet formed by guitarist Mike Redfern explores the groove based compositions of great artists ranging from Herbie Hancock to Stevie Wonder. The band features the wonderful Alex Hitchcock (tenor), Ed Ireland (bass) and Oscar Reynolds (drums).
