Calling all adventurers. On Thursday 17th April, the 21-metre Clipper Race vessel ‘CV20’ will be arriving at St Katharine Docks and, over the Easter break, its crew will be inviting the public onboard for a series of boat tours and presentations at the Tower Hotel.

Described as ‘an adventure like no other’, Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a 40,000 nautical mile race around the world onboard a class of 70-foot ocean racing yachts. The 2025-26 edition is set to kick off on 31 August from Portsmouth. Clipper Race organisers are looking for the next crew of intrepid sailors to take part.

Visitors will find out more about the selection process, training, the race, the fleet, stopovers, logistics and most importantly, the Race Crew. There are two presentations taking place on 18 April (Presentations at 1000 and 1400), as well as the opportunity to get on board a Clipper 70 all weekend for a free boat tour.
