Lunar New Year Celebrations
At the Docks this Lunar New Year, we’re celebrating with a design-led approach inspired by our historic links to global trade, tea and fine chinaware. Rather than traditional festival decoration, the estate will be dressed with a series of considered installations influenced by Jingdezhen blue-and-white porcelain — a craft that featured heavily among the goods once imported through London’s historic ports.
Subtle references to our waterside setting and the arrival of spring sit at the heart of the scheme, layered with fresh florals in soft seasonal tones to signal renewal and the year ahead.

Key Activations
At the centre of the celebrations is a special pop-up in collaboration with Banquet 88, the newest Chinese restaurant opening soon at the Docks. Taking place across selected dates within the February half term week, visitors will be invited to enjoy a special and refined offering of dim sum, revealing a first taste of the restaurant’s menu ahead of its official opening.
Further pop-ups and a family-friendly activity will follow shortly after, forming part of the wider Lunar New Year programme – with more details to be unveiled soon.

The Coronarium – A Historic & Versatile Event Space
Set at the heart of the marina, the Coronarium is one of St Katharine Docks’ most distinctive spaces. Originally built in 1977 to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s Silver Jubilee as an open-air chapel, it has since evolved into a flexible two-tier event venue that blends heritage architecture with contemporary functionality.
The lower level features a warm prep kitchen, bar and service area, while the upper level offers a seated mezzanine with panoramic views across the docks – making it an ideal setting for corporate events, brand activations and hospitality experiences.
