St Kats Sessions: Mothers day
Following four sold-out shows, St. Katharine Docks is delighted to announce its Mother’s Day St. Kat’s Sessions with a celebration designed for the leading women in our lives.
Held on London’s only floating entertainment pontoon, this special Sunday afternoon invites families and jazz lovers to honour mothers, grandmothers, and maternal figures in one of the capital’s most enchanting waterfront settings.
Set against the sparkling backdrop of the marina, the floating venue transforms into an intimate jazz haven where guests can relax under snug blankets whilst enjoying live music on the water. The afternoon session runs from 4pm to 6pm, with the bar remaining open until 7pm, creating the perfect unhurried celebration and post-lunch treat.
Location
The Pontoon can be found outside in our marina central basin, opposite the Haven Building, 50 St Katharine’s Way, E1W 1LA. For a more precise indicator, please follow the link to the What3Words pin.

A Unique Floating Venue
In recent years, St Katharine Docks’ floating pontoon has become one of the estate’s most sought-after event spaces. Drawing millions of visitors annually, the docks offer a rare combination of central London accessibility and a tranquil waterside setting.
The pontoon’s position within the basin creates a natural amphitheatre where sound carries beautifully across the water, offering exceptional acoustics and an intimate connection between performer and audience. Few venues in London can rival this blend of atmosphere, location and acoustic quality.
