St Kat’s Jazz Festival

This August Bank Holiday weekend, St Katharine Docks comes alive with the St Kat’s Jazz Festival, bringing three days of free live music, independent food and waterside drinks to the Marble Quay.

From Friday 28 to Sunday 30 August, more than 20 world-class musicians will take to the stage, transforming the waterfront into a celebration of jazz for everyone. Following the success of St Kat’s Sessions throughout the summer, the festival brings the music out onto Marble Quay, creating a bigger, more accessible experience with free entry for all.

You can find us on the Marble Quay, located outside the famous Dicken’s Inn pub. Please follow the link to the What3Words pin here for an exact location.

Jazz, food and drinks by the marina

The music is only part of the experience. Marble Quay will be home to a selection of independent London food retailers, including The Pizza Club London, Heavy Slice, &KAFFEIN and Bite Me Baby, alongside a full bar serving drinks throughout the weekend.

The festival will be open and with live music from:

Friday: 4pm–8.30pm
Saturday: 1pm–8.30pm
Sunday: 1pm–8.30pm

A stellar line-up

The festival brings together established jazz legends, award-winning artists and some of the genre’s most exciting rising stars.

Olivia Swann, St Kat’s Sessions’ artist in residence throughout the summer, will headline across all three days, alongside jazz favourites Ian Shaw and Esther Bennet. Award-winning musicians Jamie Safir and Louise Balkwill join an international line-up featuring Angie Pastor, travelling from New York, and Mike Harrison from Chicago.

The programme also showcases a new generation of talent, including Noah Stoneman, Kelly Craige, Grace Sheene, Lauren Bush and Sophya, alongside Fraser Urquhart, Inés Nassara, Wura Abimbola, Emmanuel Ayeni, Rupert Cox, Kate Threfall and Stephanie Da Silva.

With carefully curated performances throughout the weekend, expect a mix of familiar favourites, fresh sounds and exceptional musicianship.

Take to the stage: The Vocal Jam

The festival will culminate on Sunday evening at 7pm with an open Vocal Jam, inviting singers and musicians to join the house band and become part of the show.
