A Weekend of Wishes
The Coronarium has been given an autumn makeover, with the Wishing Tree taking centre stage as a staple installation on it’s outside terrace for a two-day event coming up this October. This seasonal installation will be a staple feature throughout the first weekend of half term, inviting visitors to stop by, make a wish and add a little bit of their own magic to the tree.
And there are a couple of free activities to enjoy while you’re here inside, on the first floor.
🍂 Make a Wish Leaf – Take a stroll around the Docks and collect a fallen leaf, then use chunky oil pastels to create your own design and write down a wish. Once you’re finished, take it outside and hang your leaf on the Wishing Tree.
🌱 Plant a Wishing Tree – Head upstairs to decorate your own pot and plant an acorn to take home, with the hope of growing your very own oak tree.
Inside, on the ground floor, you can also warm up with a seasonal coffee from the Coronarium’s pop-up coffee bar, with cosy flavours including chai, maple and pumpkin-inspired drinks.
Whether you’re looking for something creative to do with the family during half term or simply fancy a seasonal coffee by the water, come and enjoy a little bit of autumn at the Docks.
