Terms of Entry On-Site

St Katharine Docks is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Estate is privately owned and managed. By entering, you agree to act in line with the guidelines below, which exist to keep the docks safe, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone, residents, tenants and visitors alike. The Estate is patrolled by our on-site security team and covered by CCTV. Individual retailers, restaurants and bars may set their own opening hours, separate from the Estate’s general access.

  • ALCOHOL ON THE ESTATE
Walking around the docks with alcohol is not permitted. Drinking is only allowed within the outside seating areas of licensed retail units, and within outlined zones during select estate events.
  • PUBLIC SEATING & WALKWAYS
Please keep the seating provided by each restaurant or bar free for paying customers and respect the marked boundaries of their outside areas. Walkways around the docks must always remain clear for pedestrians. There is also plenty of public seating around the Estate with views over the marina, free for anyone to enjoy.
  • UNEVEN SURFACES & HERITAGE PAVING
St Katharine Docks is a historic dockside site, and much of the Estate is paved with original cobbles and other uneven surfaces. These can be slippery when wet or icy and harder to see in low light. Visitors use the Estate at their own risk and should take care when walking, wear suitable footwear, and take extra care near the dock edges and on the bridges. Please keep a close eye on children and take particular care if you are using a pushchair, wheelchair or mobility aid. Accessible routes are available across the Estate. If you need help finding one, please ask a member of our security team.
  • DOGS & PETS
Dogs are welcome on the Estate but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog, this is a legal requirement, and failure to do so can result in a fine of up to £1,000.
  • CYCLING
Cycling on the Estate is permitted but strongly discouraged given the volume of pedestrians. Cyclists must dismount when crossing the bridges and always give pedestrians the right of way. Bicycles must never be locked to the fencing around the docks, these will be removed by security.
  • WATER SAFETY
St Katharine Docks is a working marina with deep, open water, moving vessels and areas without barriers. Swimming, jumping or paddling in the docks is strictly prohibited. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when near the water’s edge. Lifebuoys are positioned at intervals around the dock, in an emergency dial 999 and alert the nearest member of staff or security.
  • PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Photography and filming are welcome across the Estate for personal use. Commercial photography or filming of any kind is not permitted without a licence or written approval, granted at the Landlord’s discretion. For media and filming enquiries, contact filming@skdocks.co.uk.

Parking is available on-site via the JustPark app. Alternatively, you can check out our most up to date parking locations here: https://www.justpark.com/uk/parking/london/tower-hill/st-katherine-docks/ For long-term leasing enquiries, contact enquiries@skdocks.co.uk
  • GENERAL CONDUCT & RIGHT OF ADMISSION
The Estate is monitored by CCTV and patrolled by on-site security. Anti-social behaviour, littering, unauthorised trading, busking or soliciting without permission, and any activity that puts others at risk will not be tolerated. Management and security reserve the right to ask any individual to leave the Estate, and to refuse entry, where these guidelines are not followed.
